25th anniversary

In the autumn of 1981, the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions
established a research institute. Twenty-five years later, Fafo
has become Norway's biggest independent research institute for social
sciences, with 90 employees. Fafo will be holding a series of jubileum
events in 2006-07, concluding with a multi-day conference on 15-16
February.
