Fafo
establishes index on top management salaries
16.03.2006
Top management's salaries are of current interest right before this
year's wage settlement. Fafo has established a management salary
index, but available data are insufficient. Top management salaries
are important in wage formation in Norway, and it's hard to argue
for moderation among ordinary workers if top leaders diverge siginficantly
from wage developments among other groups, says Fafo researcher
Håvard Lismoen.
