The project aims to map out the economic losses to the two countries as a result of engaging in war by analyzing trade losses, port fees (loss of revenues for one and increased port costs for the other) and labor costs due to military mobilization. Sources of data for the project are statistical reports from Ethiopia and Eritrea, WB and IMF datasets.
