Consultancy to the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions

During the transition period, the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions has maintained close links to the Russian trade union movement, contributing to the establishment of regularised industrial relations in Russia. Fafo has on several occasions served as advisors and consultants to the NCTU, and participated regularly in the joint Russian-Norwegian trade union conferences, held both in Russia and in Norway. Conference agendas have comprised a variety of issues with relevance for the trade unions, ranging from aspects of poverty and living conditions to establishment of tripartite industrial relations.
