IMIRA Fieldwork
The main fieldwork of the IMIRA survey started Monday March 22 all over
Iraq, except the northern Governorates of Erbil, Dahuk and Sulaymaniyah.
The collection of data in Sulaymaniyah started one week later.
Despite the difficult security situation CSO interviewer staff are in
the field updating sampling lists and conducting interviews. Fieldwork
in some areas has been postponed due to the violence and insecurity.
Fafo has had three staff members in Iraq from the beginning of March,
but due to security concerns two left Iraq on April 19.
TThe fieldwork in the 16 Southern Governorates of Iraq was completed
the 1st of June. The fieldwork in the Northern Governorates of Erbil and
Dahuk was undertaken during August.
