Prostitution in the Nordic countries

The project is funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers and Nordic Institute for Women's Studies and Gender Research (NIKK), and the project period is 2007-2008. The project entails a comparison within the Nordic region on the knowledge on the extent of prostitution and trafficking, on laws and social projects directed at the phenomena and on attitudes towards the buying of sex. May-Len Skilbrei and Marianne Tveit at Fafo participates in the Norwegian part of the study. In connection with the project, Skilbrei also have a position at NIKK as a project manager.
