The overarching theme of 2018 NWLC is how to create a sustainable future of work in the Nordic countries in a time of rising levels of inequality and exclusion in working life. Challenges such as low-wage competition, skewed power relations, the future of collective bargaining, technological and organizational changes and availability, standards and content of work will be addressed.

The 2018 NWLC will take place in Oslo, Norway, and we welcome fellow researchers and practitioners from within as well as outside the Nordic countries to participate in this important conference.

Call for sessions/streams

We welcome proposals for thematic sessions for the conference. The deadline for proposals is 1 June 2017 but you are welcome to submit your proposal today. The organising committee will review the proposals and the decisions will be announced on 15 August 2017. Please submit your proposal to .
