Graded Sick Leave: Mapping, Causal Effects and Heterogeneity (GRADERT)

Graded sick leave is widely used in Norway and represents a key instrument for preventing long-term sickness absence and labour market exit. However, important questions remain regarding when graded sick leave is most effective, which groups benefit from it, and how follow-up efforts can be tailored to different needs. The GRADERT project aims to strengthen the evidence base for more targeted measures and follow-up strategies for sick-listed employees.

Immigrant women in and outside employment

The purpose of the project is to provide new knowledge about the labour market participation of different groups of immigrant women in the short and long term, and about the factors that promote or hinder participation in working life. In the project, we explore in particular what can help women with a refugee background enter work or education through the Introduction Programme, and how this attachment can be sustained over time.
