This webinar presents the key findings and outputs of the INTEGRATE project, which explores the links between work-related crime, labour exploitation and occupational safety and health (OSH) in the Nordic countries.
During the final online conference, the project team presents the research results, concrete recommendations and a practical checklist developed to support authorities, social partners and other key actors in identifying and preventing labour exploitation.
The webinar also includes expert commentaries from across the Nordic countries, followed by a discussion on shared challenges, promising practices and ways forward.
The INTEGRATE project (2024–2025) is funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers and implemented by HEUNI in cooperation with Fafo (Norway) and Lund University (Sweden). The project builds on previous research, focus groups and interviews with Nordic experts, and examines how work environment risks, labour market regulation and enforcement practices intersect with labour exploitation. Project outputs include: a research report with key findings and recommendations, a fact sheet and a practical checklist for identifying and addressing work-related crime, and a series of short, case-based videos highlighting prevention practices across the Nordic countries. All project materials are freely available.
