This webinar explored how the concept of vulnerability shapes refugee resettlement, balancing humanitarian objectives with states’ interests in migration control and integration. Drawing on new findings from the international project The Future of Resettlement: Vulnerability Revisited, the discussion highlights dilemmas of categorization, prioritization, and implementation in resettlement policy and practice.
The webinar featured short presentations of research findings from the project, followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
