Mobilizing the new Russian Diaspora in a context of sanctions, social exclusion and fear of repression (RUDIMO)

This project aims to provide a better understanding about conditions for the "new Russian diaspora” – the large groups that have left the Russian Federation after the 2014 invasion of Crimea and, in particular, following the 2022 full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Completed projects

Secondary migration among refugees - causes and consequences

In general, we want to shed light on the connections between refugees‘ migration decisions, managed and dispersed settlement, and the municipalities’ integration measures.
Irregular migrants in Norwegian cities

Fafo will investigate the possibilities and limitations municipal authorities have for influencing the situation of migrants without legal residence, in five Norwegian cities.
